If you have just learned that your child has a hearing loss this must be so very difficult, but you are not alone. If you are already on this journey, there are many other families who have gone through similar situations and have had amazing experiences they would have never dreamed possible in the beginning. One place to start is the Listening and Spoken Language Knowledge Center. This website has information about hearing loss, about hearing technology, how to locate an Auditory Verbal Therapist and how to take the steps towards helping your child be successful with listening and spoken language.
